Saturday, August 20th, 2022 is National Honey Bee Day, which has been designated as an awareness day for beekeepers, beekeeping clubs and associations, and honey bee enthusiasts from across the United States to celebrate honey bees and recognize their contribution to humans' everyday lives as a means of protecting this critical species.
Join us on the farm to celebrate all things honey bee related! We will have local honey for you to sample, tasty honey flavored treats available to purchase in The Ice Cream Shack, honey bee and pollinator games to play for children, a seed bomb making station, beekeeping tools to touch and learn about, an old bee hive to examine, an amazing pollinator plant sale for you to take advantage of, and much more! Beekeepers will be on-site to answer any honey bee questions! We hope to see you there! No charge for admission to the farm. This is a fun family-friendly event!
