Currently around the farm…
October may be behind us, but there’s still plenty happening here at Smith’s Farm Market! Our weekend hayrides, pumpkin patch, and fall festivities have come to an end, but the holiday season is just beginning.
Join us for one last Moonlit Hayride & Bonfire on Friday, November 22, and don’t miss your chance to visit Santa when he arrives at the farm on Friday, November 29.
We’re also hosting a variety of holiday workshops throughout November and December—perfect for getting creative and festive with family and friends.
Our holiday breads and dessert pre-orders are now available—just in time for Thanksgiving gatherings.
We’re open Wednesday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5 PM, and we’d love to see you around the farm this holiday season! Don’t forget to stop by and visit our farm animals—they love the attention and extra treats! With 12 acres of landscape plants in production, November is also one of the best times of the year to plant and refresh your garden.

We are excited to share that we are the proud recipients of the NC AgVentures Grant! We applied for a grant towards the end of 2020 to help in the construction of a walk-in cooler which will help us in delivering local quality dairy, produce, and other goods to our wonderful customers! Stay tuned as we share the details of this exciting project!

We have been busy in our greenhouses growing pesticide-free tomatoes, cucumbers, and lettuce! Check out this video as we follow a little lettuce sprout!
