Arbor Day—which translates to “tree” day from the Latin origin of the word arbor—is a holiday that celebrates the planting, upkeep and preservation of trees. Arbor Day may not have the same clout as holidays like Valentine’s Day or St. Patrick’s Day (or even Earth Day), but it has a history with strong roots that branches out and is now celebrated in all 50 states and in countries around the globe. On this day, we welcome you to come to our farm and take some time to plant a small wax myrtle seedling to take home!
